Business Awards Give Local Businesses Recognition 
and Exposure

Every September, The Chamber of Medford/Jackson County honors businesses and individuals for Business Excellence in small (1-50 employees), medium (51-150 employees) and large (over 151 employees) categories, Retailer of the Year, Member of the Year, New Member of the Year, Outstanding Corporate Citizen and First Citizen.   

The spirit of the awards is to recognize those businesses and individuals that have a history of outstanding commitment and dedication to southern Oregon.  The awards are presented at the Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet.

2007 award winners included:

• First Citizen - Bill Thorndike, Jr., Medford Fabrication
• Future First Citizen Scholarship, in memory of William R. Haas - Lila Schreiber, Ashland High School
• New Member of the Year - Chick Parsons, Edward Jones Investments
• Member of the Year - Todd Reichenbach, Valley Web Printing
• Business Excellence:  Small Company - United Risk Solutions
• Business Excellence:  Medium Company - Brotherton Pipeline
• Business Excellence:  Large Company - Rogue Valley Manor
• Retailer of the Year - Larson's Home Furnishings 
• Outstanding Corporate Citizen (For-Profit) - LTM, Inc.
• Outstanding Corporate Citizen (Non-Profit) - St. Vincent de Paul
• Chairman's Community Award - Southern Oregon Meth Project/KOBI-TV
