The Chamber: Helping Business Succeed
Our mission is to enhance and promote vitality and quality of life in southern Oregon by using business and community resources, and fostering communication and collaboration on issues paramount to business success.
At The Chamber of Medford/Jackson County, the largest and most influential in Oregon, our purpose is to help business succeed. As a member-only supported organization of more than 1,250 small, medium, and large businesses, we work together to achieve this goal through fortifying the four pillars of our strategic objectives: creating a stronger local economy, promoting the community, providing networking opportunities, and representing business issues through lobbying and political action.
Recent studies show how indispensable Chamber membership is to forward-thinking business owners. Of Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” 94 are members of their local chamber, including all of the top 24. Companies that care about their employees care about their communities, and a Chamber membership is one of the best ways to help both of these worthy goals. The Chamber is the number one business resource citizens look to in the community. The area's economic well-being is directly related to the caliber of work performed by The Chamber. That is why we seek to have a major impact on business, income and future growth of the Medford/Jackson County area.
