Event Description:
The unexpected death of Alexander the Great triggered decades of warfare and instability from Macedonia to India. In a fascinating lecture, Ean Roby will examine the major personalities and most significant events from this remarkable period that truly changed the face of the ancient world. Ean Roby is Professor Emeritus at Ohlone College in Freemont, California. Re regularly teaches OLLI classes in ancient history, philosophy, and comparative religions The event is hosted by The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Southern Oregon University.
